Yes, I did an internet search. It seems to be kinda 50% of I won't kill myself
for a tire, so buy new, to, I have plug/patched & done HPDE with no issues.
I have hardly driven this last month, I just took them off. 245/17x8

1- Not sure how long it's been there? From the look of it, does not seem to
be long.
2- Did it pierce? I assume so.
3- It's not losing air. #2 maybe not.
4- If you can't tell, it's close to the inside wall(about 2" away).

Can I still use it with plug/patch for HPDE, I'm not a very aggressive driver.

A pic is worth 1,000 words. :mad0259:

So, kindly add to the confusion.

That looks repairable.

And yes, I would run that on a track after a proper patch repair.

If it were my tire I would unmount it, and go to a garage I trust to repair it with a patch/plug. Just a plug is not enough.
I would have no problem doing track as long as it is properly repaired. A plug without unmounting the tire would not be a proper repair in my mind.

Check it after each session at first to make sure everything looks fine.

Get it patched from the inside of the tire at a shop and you'll be good to go.

Look easily repairable.

Get it patched professionally and you'll be good to go.
