Estimation on BRZ damage to front & back bumper

3 Attachment(s)
Never. let. your. mom. drive. your. first. BRZ.

So, two separate events, I suppose.

First pic (rear left side of bumper).

Second & third pic (pointy ends of the front bumper).

I have no idea how this happened and neither does she.

Any estimate on these damages and how much it'd cost to repair? Any other options or solutions? :(

First one is definitely from pulling too far into a parking spot and hitting either the curb, wall or those little parking blocks.

Second one probably also from parking, pulled into a spot too close to the neighboring car or column.

Sucks man :( But I have no idea how much that would cost, others from CA can probably tell you. Might be easier to just send pics to a nearby shop known for working on the twins and have them give an estimate.

The bumper is urethane or something so hot water and coercion can be used to bend it back. Regardless, it doesn't seem severely or even lightly dented. This looks like someone would have to strip paint away, make a batch of paint to match your car, and then re-apply. Relatively straightforward, though it might cost more than your insurance deductible if you brought it to a good shop that works with insurance companies.

Someone hit my parked car and dented and scraped paint from my rear quarter panel and passenger door. They fixed the dents and did the paint matching perfectly, and I paid a $500 deductible. My paint code is K1X, or crystal white pearl. Find the auto body shop with the best reviews and get a quote from them is what you should do

Hello Trovez and welcome to ye ol forum .......

Like said, a little patience and touch up paint will make them all better.

As far as blaming you Mom ........ :slap: ...... shame on you!

Look at all the grief you caused your Mom over the years ....... from weeks of morning sickness ......to many stretch marks ..... to changing hundreds of poopy diapers ..... to breaking Lord knows how many things ....... well, you get the drift.

You still owe her......

:D

With prices around here you are looking at at least $2,000. The bumper needs to be replaced (to do it right). The bodywork and paint on the fender although not horrible will not be cheap since they will need to blend the paint in.

Blending is the word I could not find. Someone hit my parked car and of course didn't leave a number. My biggest concern was if the shop would get the blending right. They did it perfectly. Send your car to G&C Autobody if your car gets damaged up here in mendocino county

Neither. Using these will not look good and then you will be spending even more money getting it fixed. Have your mom pay to have the car fixed at an autobody shop.

This^
Touch up is ok for small chips and scratch's but that damage is well beyond that. The end result will look like a kindergarten project that you would hang on the fridge.

Hey guys, random thought I had last night when I was in bed.

What about a mod or something to go over it (at the front bumper) ?
Is there such a thing? A cap or something that can go over them on both sides etc.?

I'm scared it'll cost like 700-1300$, which I don't have atm!

Plus, I planned on getting mods done anyways, if i were to just cover it with something, kill 2 birds with 1 stone!

Your mom takes your car out and damages it and won't pay for it to be fixed?
