Michelin A/S 3+ in summer heat

I know all the talk is about winter tires now, but I like to plan ahead :).

Does anyone have any experience with the A/S 3+ in 90-95F temperatures? Any comparison to the stock Primacies in that heat range? Thanks!

If you have winter tires for winters, don't run an all season.

An all season tire is a wonderful way to ruin all that is good about the sports car you spent lots on with decades of chassis engineering experience, and race car trophy's from both involved manufactures.

Buy a dedicated summer tire for summer use, all season heat ranges usually get dicey at best up in the 90's, and if they are decent up there, they are horrific down low. Get an appropriate all season or winter tire for your off-summer needs. (WR3 is a good option if you have mild winters but cold temps and don't need a true winter tire, maybe an inch of snow here and there, otherwise go dedicated winter tire.)

I have about 20k on my A/S 3+s right now. Granted, these are 255/40/19 and 285/35/19 on my 3600lbs Mustang GT, but I run them as my summer tires because I have a 90 mile commute and I didn't want to burn up high wear summer tires on the highway.

My car has a G-Meter. I have pulled an indicated 1.03 sustained lateral G in both 100 degree weather and 55 degree weather. They don't get greasy in the heat, but they do get a little stiffer and looser around freezing. Not nearly as bad as a dedicated summer tire. Mind you, this is on a 2014 Mustang GT with a solid rear axle, Koni Yellows, soft/street friendly springs, and sways.

These are really not your grandpa's all seasons.

I've run the A/S3 for a couple NC summers, and just put on a set of A/S3+. No complaints, and I am much happier with them than the stock primacies.
