Please recommend good tires for BRZ with performance package

Hi all,

I am looking to purchase 2017 brz performance package soon, and I heard tire change is essential for the performance package as it adds up more braking power and suspension competence and wider wheels.

Can you guys recommend best tires for brz in performance package?
I am not going to race or something, but sometimes i will have fun myself and i just want to choose best tires for my car’s spec.

Thank you!!

There's nothing wrong with the stock tires for daily driving IMHO. Wear them out and then decide what you want.

He said best tires might as well be Pilot Sport Cup 2.

Stick with 215 or 225 width for best steering feedback.

Tire selection really depends on application. I ran Pilot Sport A/S 3 cuz I don't track and can't be bothered having to warm up the tires for spirited street driving.

This ^
There are a lot of tire snobs out there that say that the stock tires are no good. They are great tires for the street and a stock set up. There is no reason to swap them out as soon as you get the car.

Those tires are not available in the US in that size

the stock tires are great. Tcoat is correct.

They are not worth it to buy again once ground down. I dont know though about mileage rating and longevity of pilot super sports. OBviously they are better tires for braking wet or dry etc
