Garrett G Series turbos (Sema 2017)
 

Did not see a thread as of yet on this new turbo released at Sema 2017. Garrett G25-550, and G25-660 I have been looking into getting a turbo kit this year and geeking out over different turbos and kits. This on paper looks like a fantastic turbo for this platform in my humble opinion. Wanted to drop some links and see if anyone has any info who is developing kits with these new turbos.

I'm planning on upgrading my gtx2867 to a G25-660 once JDL gets them in.

Would definitely like to see this makes me reconsider the supercharger vs turbo debate

Anyone gone with this new turbo yet as my old motor has seen better days so trying to decide whether to go Sprintex 335 or
the G25 550 or 660 for the built motor .

Had the 210 intercooled kit for about 60k but think the motor has done a ring land or head gasket and has lost a fair bit of oil pressure so hence wondering what to do . :iono:

Anyone running this turbo on the 86?

I don't think so. Not yet anyways, the only company that offered and are actually working on incorporating this is JDL. No other turbo kit has come out and announced anything otherwise.

The new HKS turbo looks similar to this
