2017 LED tails gasket
Hey all, I bought some very lightly used 2017 led OEM tail lights from someone who switched to Valenti, and the gaskets look ok but a bit creased, and I wanted to replace them to be on the safe side... Will the older gaskets fit these? I haven't had time to take mine apart yet and I won't be able to pick up the new ones for a while and want to be prepared to install.

Being that i have seen 2013-2016 twins with 2017 taillights, i would assume they are the same/ similar gaskets used. Try https://gasketninja.com/ . Can anyone confirm as i want to switch to 2017 tails as well?

Gaskets are the same. My “newer” 2017 taillights comes with the oem gaskets and I didn’t replace those with a fresh new one upon the installation, holding up just fine so far, no condensation.

I ended up checking some parts websites and noticed the part numbers were different so i ordered the new gaskets. ninjagasket says the 2017+ are still in testing so i guess they're different somehow?? not sure. either way. they look nice especially compared to the 2013-16 lights. Confused as to how my valentis broke off in the corner. Maybe i over torqued them... though i didn't go ham on the socket wrench...can't really see it unless the trunk is open but still bugged me enough to change.
