Prorace 1.2 Wheels

Plan on getting Prorace 1.2 17X7 in matte black for my Silver BRZ. Just wanted to make sure that the offset of +38 will fit on my stock suspension. Rather have a more flush look than the +50. It looks like it should be fine. And yes I want to stay with a 17X7 rim - no need for extra weight with a DD BRZ. Thanks.

Yes, a +38 offset will fit stock suspension. I think the fronts will be just about flush but the rear may not be as flush

Thanks!

If weight is your goal you can still find plenty of lighter than stock wheels that are wider than the factory 17x7

Yeah, I know but the truth is I really like the playfulness of this car. So going to 225 or 235 tires on 17 x8 or 17 x9 tire in my opinion just adds more weight and cost for grip I will never need on a DD car. With my 04 WRX I stepped up from stock and it did wonders for grip, I have also done sways, suspension, tons of braces and bushings to get that car to handle on rails. But I like the way the BRZ feels stock. With only a stage 2 tune and headers, exhaust I really don't need more grip. So basically I am fine with a 215 tire.

Stock wheels are 17x7 +48 offset. +38 is only a 10mm difference. To get a "Flush" look, many members have added 25mm front and 30mm rear spacers. This makes the front offset +23 and the rear +18.

This is a 25mm spacer all around. The rear can handle 5mm more....
