Stopping the window half way

OK, I know how to do it (or maybe I don't) but sometimes I'm just not quick enough with the button to stop the window where I want it after auto down or up is initiated. So I end up driving down the road with my window going up and down 3 or 4 times lookin' like a ding dong until I get it to stop halfway.

Is there a way to adjust this so I don't have to be so quick with the flick...maybe like a senior citizen setting or something? I hope I'm not the only one that has this problem. :(

I wish there was. I play the same game.

Start with getting the arms strengthened:

Then get the fingers a separate routine with concentrating on the pointer finger: http://www.prohands.net/Prohands-Mus...ro/ProMain.jpg

In no time you'll get it 1/2 way down, 3/4 and if you really put the effort in, you can get silly and get it 4/5 and then you'll really turn some heads.

just to confirm that you are operating the window correctly:
the switch has two levels. lightly operating the switch allows you to stop and start the window. operating the switch fully puts the window in full down or full up mode.

I can easily stop the window inches open or halfway down.

^this

I was half wondering if this whole thread is one big troll because this functionality is easy/obvious.

The theory is sound. In practice I frequently screw it up. I am mildly disabled when it comes to window switches.

when I first bought my car I didn't know this. I learned the switch function from this forum. I replaced the failed drivers side regulator in my Honda and now it functions the same way.

;)

I've owned many vehicles with this kind of switch, guess I'm just used to it

I have no feel for the lightly vs fully depressed switch. So I mash the fucking piece of shit one way, curse, mash it in the other, curse, mash it the other way, curse, call it a fucking piece of shit, mash it in both directions rapidly, curse then somehow it stops close to halfwayish sort of and I leave it alone.

I hate that switch.

Well there we go, I learned something new today, just have to master it now.

I kind of had the same problem when I installed the Tapturn module...had to get used to actuating the turn signal halfway for a very short period of time to get the 3 blink sequence. Most times I either held it too long or went too far.

Nope, not a troll. Until this morning I honestly had no idea about the light touch function, got something new to try!

It isn't too bad when sitting still but when moving is when I struggle with it. It is pretty sensitive.

Definitely easier if you can just rest your hand/arm on the door for a moment while playing with the switch, but yea, its a pain when moving.
