Yes it is for sure the most time consuming piece to install.

For anyone wondering you have to remove the center console via 6 bolts and 3 plugs. You don’t even have to take it out of the car though, you can just slide it into the backseat. The 6 bolts are exposed by taking off the shifter trim, usb trim, and cup holder. Once all that is out you take off the dash trim and there are 2 bolts there holding each knee pad in place.
