OFT + Romraider xml question

Hey guys,

Tried searching for this information but couldn't find anything. It is quite possible I wasn't searching for the right terms though.

I just got the OFT and just wanted to check out Romraider and I noticed in the downloads folder, where there is the 2.10 xml documents for editing the bin files, that there are some that start with OFT_ and others start with RR_. I am wondering if there is a difference between the OFT_ and RR_ because my ID is F40D and there is no OFT_ with F40D. There is a F00D but that doesn't work in RomRaider with the tune for F40D (kinda figured it wouldn't either).

What is the difference in the '40' vs the '00' for the ID? Is it just an updated one or completely different? I believe the D is for the location and transmission and the F I have no idea what it stands for.

If someone knows where I could find all this info and whether or not there will me an xml file for the F40D would be great!

Thanks :)

see romraider tip link below

always use the xml files that come with oft tunes. Yes I think some had RR in front and some OFT. As long as you use the xml that comes with the tune bin/hex file all ok.

Each calid is different

the all start with ZA1J

ie ZA1JF40D

in usa Canada
D=auto
C is manual

the F40 is the revision number

see the first part of the Tactrix link below for more on CALID

Ok cool! Thanks for the reply! I noticed on your RomRaider thread that you had images and it said to make sure they look alright. I tested with the 91 stage 1 tune just to see and the colours do not match up for the Primary open loop fuelling table but they do for the Base Timing B table. Just wondering if the colours mean anything at all or it's just to help see the difference in the values as they change? See the image I captured from my RomRaider screen.

Main thing is values are realistic colours just assist to see trends

Cool! So if I understand correctly, it is what I thought it was. Colour just help with seeing the difference from some values to others and don't really mean anything in particular, it is the values that matter in that case not the color.
