Tail as turn - UK tail lights

Hey folks,

I am a proud owner of 2013 GT86 here in UK..

My first mod as owning 86 was to modify the tails. I wanted to keep the stock feel however i liked the Diode Dynamics Tail as Turn module. I then bought the Tail as turn from Diode Dynamics about 11 monts ago prior to owning the car.

On Thursday, i tried to fit the module in the tail-light, but i had no success. I then wrote to Diode dynamics support team day after my attempt to get the tail light working the way i wanted. He then got back to me saying that the module is only for US cars since they run on different wiring in comparison to UK 86's..

Did anyone have issue with them, esp the non US customers? I really want the mod to work on my car  Can we re-wire and perhaps make it comaptible with UK customers, i would appreciate any help i can get from you guys.

I have also attached the link for module I currently have.

Thank you

How much different is the UK vs US tails? I feel like if you just narrow down the correct wires for each part it shouldn't be too hard rewire the module.

*I don't own that module, but do own other DD items and they work as described*

Toyota switched 2 cables with the tails in the US vs EU. They switched the blinkers with the brakelights. Find those cables on the module en switch them around.
Use a multimeter to find out the correct cables.

Just search on YouTube for repinnning tail lights. Be easy to see.

Red lights aren't legal as indicators in the UK BTW (in case it matters).
