Has anyone ever had an OFT repaired by Open Flash Performance?
 

Someone broke my OFT by mistake and they are offering to get it repaired (the screen is broken). It's $250 to get the screen fixed- has anyone had this done before? Is the screen usable or like-new after repair?

A rather dumb question, no? Is the screen usable after you pay $250 to be repaired? Sure as hell hope so ... no ?

I am not the 1st owner of the OFT and I can't contact OFP (can't leave phone messages, no answer to emails, no answer to FB posts or messages) so I think getting it fixed is not an option.

Definitely do the DIY. I did it on mine and it worked perfectly. It is very easy too especially if you know how to work on cars.

Have you tried getting ahold of shiv on the FB group? he pops in there pretty often.

I have called OFP on 2 different phone numbers and no one answers and the VM box is full. I emailed 2 different addresses and there's been no response. I FB messaged... nothing. I left a comment on the FB page and it hasn't posted yet, no one has approved it.

So yeah, I pretty much have to do the DIY

I found a FB group just for the OFT and a guy in there sent me links to the companies that make the LCD and touch screen and they are on the way! So wish me luck, hopefully they will be here next week.

I'm just going to say I definitely appreciate the feedback that people are posting on here. This is something I would have considered purchasing until I found out their customer service is non-existent.

Once business slows down on the Ferrari side of things, he'll remember to help the peasants out.
