Axle issue and Subaru dealerships

Hello,
Has anyone had experience with the powertrain warranty at local Subaru dealerships? My axle is beginning to tick and I'm wondering if my claim will be denied if my car is lowered.

I've had some pretty expensive warranty work done, but not the axle in particular.

I have a new transmission, throw out bearing and, I think, flywheel. They also have had to crack open the new transmission because it had some bad linkages, making it damn near impossible to shift into first or second.

This was done over the course of a few visits and a couple months. So it's not like, they're opposed to actually working on warranty cars. That would be weird if that were the case.

They did all the work under warranty, no problem at all. I'm the second owner of the car, but that didn't make anything any more complicated.

How low are you? I think they will try to deny the claim due to it being lowered, but it depends on which dealer you go to.

I believe @BigFatFlip got his clicking axle serviced at a Subaru dealer.

I got a replacement under warranty at stevens creek toyota.

Just contacted Subaru and found out my warranty expired anyway. Luckily I have an aftermarket warranty that will cover it. Thanks for the replies.

It could just need the $6 axle nut replaced.
