CAPSLOCKs Daily BRZ

I needed a new daily after my Bugeye got old and my Miata just isn't feasible to drive in anything but the best of weather. 3 months research & searching later led me to buying my first ever new car. I Flew to Chicago yesterday and drove it 700 miles back home to DC. I was pretty specific that I wanted a Limited WRB with the AT. Yes...Automatic. Judge if you wish, I sit in 2.5 hour DC traffic every day on my 11 mile commute and it just sucks. I figure if I want to drive a manual on the weekend, Miata is Always the Answer.

First picture on my way home:

Here's the obligatory Miata Tax:

This build will be pretty basic as it needs to function as a reliable daily however, I do have a few changes planned. I'll mostly let pictures do the talking. Follow me on IG @db_couper for Miata & BRZ updates

2.5hrs for 11 miles?! That is like 4mph. You could walk as fast or bicycle faster. At least your car will look fast.

Straight pipe titanium exhaust and tune to play the music of your people for 2.5 hours.

Southern California is bad enough. DC sounds even worse. I could never live there. I would legit pack up my entire life and leave just to not deal with that BS.

Can you lane split out there? I'm tempted to just buy a honda grom or something out here in CA just to lane split through traffic and not deal with any of it.

I'm thinking about moving there but yes, the traffic sounds horrible. I would be living close to allow for walking/biking, and getting the heck out of there every weekend to go visit home. Otherwise, I wouldn't even consider it.

Lane splitting is only legal in CA in the US. Doesn't stop the A-hole riders though... still illegal.
