The Truth about my electric supercharger!

Is the Phantom electric supercharger dead? What is the future for electric superchargers?
eTurbo is a new company that is trying to bring an affordable electric supercharger to the market.

eTurbo should be interesting!
Don’t think plugging something in overnight is going to do it for me, but I’ll watch with interest. 20lb battery is pretty heavy too).

Nice video @Photomikes garage . Good job explaining what happened to Phantom ESC's (as the public knows it) and that the concept works. I've been running mine on e85 since 2014 dynoing about 235 WHP/210 TQ (265-275 BHP/240-250 BTQ) with no maintenance or fuss. Big downer that Rob bowed out. He made something truly special and for the aftermarket was way ahead of the game. Still glad to see technology like this progressing to the point where people with enough know-how can make it work so well. I'll keep running mine until it dies, then who knows what.

E-Turbo also sounds interesting. Sounds to me like they're setup is mostly for drag situations as it doesn't recharge in the car, but still good to see continued development on the improving the power aspect of Electric Super Charging.

Great channel and thanks for posting a video on the winding down of Phantom subject.

Thanks Daemano, the best thing about the system was it's reliability ! I just have never had any problems with it. Rob did a great job and I am sure that the electric supercharger will continue to be developed.
Thanks

Audi Special Projects has this interesting CanAM version of their new TT which has an electric turbo(supercharger) mated in sequence with a turbo, all on it's inline 5 cylinder, shown in this video of the HOONIGANS....you have to wade through the first few minutes until they introduce the car and the Audi engineer...

...And BorgWerner has been working for a few years on their eBooster which works much the same and will be implemented on 3 new cars this year in Europe, one of which is a Mercedes....

I can't wait for this to be available to the aftermarket!!!

Cheers

I love new tech like this, get this to turn on closer to our mid range dip and all will be well, maybe.

Love it. Twincharging would be awesome technology with an e-charger.

Does this require a tune? Can it work with cold air intake? How much does it cost?
So this with E85 is a +60-70 hp?
