86 vs BRZ

I am new to the Forum and considering buying either a used BRZ or 86,auto.
Going by car ads the 86 appears to be more popular than the Subaru. If this is correct, why :iono:

Because it's a Toyota. I personally prefer Subaru better.

However, the BRZ tends to be cheaper than the 86. You can easily get the performance package for the price of a base 86 (roughly)

And honestly, the 86 front bumper is garbage. Does not match the car at all.

They're basically identical. With the Subaru you get more stuff for your money. The front looks very japanese and generic though. I prefer the 86 front.

Initially when the BRZ/86 was released in first year of production Subaru made 1 BRZ for every 9 or 10 86's, this is why so many of them. Apart from the different look nose cone, there isn't much else that's different, at least not in Aust ;)
