invidia frontpipe vs HKS

Hello! what is the best option?
invidia frontpipe decat resonated, or HKS decat double resonated?
Thanks!

I would say double resonated would make it sound more tolerable. my currently setup is UEL catless headers, invidia catless resonated, with MXP catback and it does get a little raspy past 4k RPM (lets just say it sounds like a Honda). would two resonators change that? I am not sure.

It depends on what you mean by best. I think hks costs more but has an additional resonator. I bought the hks and hopefully I can put it in this weekend and then have someone put the headers in

If money is no issue, for sure HKS. When you decide to upgrade exhausts parts down the road such as headers and the such, you'll run into the problem of controlling exhaust rasp and the HKS will be much better in that regard compared to the Invidia.

I would of said the invidia with resonator.... I had the HKs one and the welds where not the best and then one of the welds crack and I had it rewelded and sold it. I placed stock one for the time being.

It cracked because I hit something. But they still seemed kind of bad in my opinion. I heard nothing but good things from invidia.

>would of

Really?

Also how can you blame something for breaking under stress it was not designed to handle?

Thanks for your answers.
HKS is rather pricey in my country than Invidia. Money is no problem. I want opinions about which is better in benefits (they will not be very big) and differences of sound.

If money is not an option, Fujitsubo Dual Resonated Front Pipe.

That is what I have, however you can only buy it from USA.

No DRONE & no extra noise increases when mounted to my Fujitsubo Authorize R catback exhaust.

nice frontpipe .... looks quality. A superior aspect
but my dealer offers me HKS or INvidia ......

lextrueno 10-13-2017 01:48 PM

Either one is fine. A pipe with resonators are going to do the same job regardless. Go with whatever one is cheaper.

Oh okay I see.

Well, here is my opinion.

I have had a Invidia Catted Front Pipe on my 2002 Subaru WRX and it was perfect without any issue!

However, in catless form....I don't know how it will be....but I can say the quality should be good.

HKS is a very old company with a lot of good products. Regarding the Catless Front Pipe....i heard some people say it has rasp.

~

At the end of the day, I'd still probably just go HKS because it has 2 resonators while the invidia only has 1.

But this is a tough choice for you buddy haha

OK :)
