tail light modifying DIY questions.

I was curious cuz I want to change the color of the taillights as we all do, can u open them, tear them down like the headlights (cook them in the oven)? If u can, y hasn't anyone tried it? Or if they have can someone lead me to that thread? I just want to paint it red but leave the signal light part alone. Like the aftermarket ones they sell. :iono:

No. To open the tails you'll need to a rotary tool or a hot knife and cut them open.

Well that blows.

Tail lights are always one piece

If you want them red just paint them or wrap them. easier to do and you can always revert back to stock no problem

What does that mean? Would silicone make it removable?

Silicone is the exact same way headlights are put together
