FRS series 1.0 crashes into home knocking out power and causing a fire
Just thought I'd share this post about a series 1.0 that crashed into a SF home causing a fire and knocking out power. Is this a member on our forum?
Link: http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local...447922693.html That's one way to park in a garage. Glad to see no one got hurt but sad to see a series 1.0 crash :( |
Well they made their instagram account private right quick https://www.instagram.com/baggedjeffrs/

Unfortunately yes it's one of us  lol
|
RIP insurance rates and innocent FRS.
glad nobody was seriously injured at least and a good reminder to take it easy while street driving and go elsewhere for spirited driving.. |

People seriously need to stop crashing their damn cars... |
He's works for a body shop as well, how ironic lol. He'll be coming to a home near you soon.
|
This happened right near where I live, and at the end of the closest thing to a "canyon road" there is in San Francisco. Makes sense.

From Instagram: "SFSU 2020"
Probably 17 or 18 years of age. Pullin out them mad skills fo sho. * I really hate local news. Guys! A car crashed! Wow. Breaking! I worked for a newspaper once. The editors creamed their pants for house fires and dead kids. |
I have no sympathy for those who endanger other peoples' lives.
I hope this guy gets a driving suspension at the very least. |
Damnit Jeff.

Can someone link me to the partout thread?
|
If Toyobaru make a turbo version with 300hp, the driver would've counter steered and power drift safely back into the road!
|
I personally just want to get some hard parking tips from him.

Not trying to defend him in any way but I feel like ya bashing on him without hearing his side of the story. Could have been any reason why he smashed into that house and not just speeding and messing up.

"His side of the story" isn't always the full truth either...

Actually, it's way easier to see at night for me at intersections because you can see headlights.. Unless you're not paying attention yourself. I always assume the other drivers will not stop. Even if you try to avoid a collision by swerving, it'll take some speed to do that kind of damage. Max speed in most residential area is 30mph and this car can stop on a dime.. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/pictu...ictureid=11162 |
Yeah, to go that much into a building would take a considerable rate of speed.
I saw his comment on fb about understeering.... |
Glad nobody got severely hurt.
It is pretty crazy when you know the person who was involved. Normally I just overlook these things. That's gotta be a crazy hit for his insurance though. |

The only thing to take from this is hope the kid learned a lesson, and others can learn from it as well.
Just glad nobody was injured and hope the home owners get their life back in order quickly. |
