I personally just want to get some hard parking tips from him.

Yeah I know the area too. Honestly no idea how the fuck he crashed into there. It's not like it's a blind turn or anything. It's pretty fucking straight at that part and there's tons of visibility where you're going. Probably had nannies off and clearly drove past his limit.

Not trying to defend him in any way but I feel like ya bashing on him without hearing his side of the story. Could have been any reason why he smashed into that house and not just speeding and messing up.

He posted a comment earlier on FB but removed it. Said he was "doing one last run", "understeered", "hit the curb but the brakes stopped working after", then hit the building. RIP '76 MG Roadster

"His side of the story" isn't always the full truth either...

True, but speeding is still speeding too. Gotta take the consequences if you do that, especially on a regular residential street.

I don't got him on FB nor even seen that comment but I retract what I said.

What I meant to say was that what if he wasn't speeding and someone just pulled out in front of him, forcing him to either hit the car or try to maneuver around which ended with him into a house. There can be other reasons why accidents happen. But since it's confirmed he was speeding/runs, I'll take my statement back

I guess you haven't had someone run a stop sign while you had the right away while driving at night? Happened a couple times to me in SF where I had to swerve but not hard enough to get onto the curbs.

Actually, it's way easier to see at night for me at intersections because you can see headlights.. Unless you're not paying attention yourself. I always assume the other drivers will not stop.

Even if you try to avoid a collision by swerving, it'll take some speed to do that kind of damage. Max speed in most residential area is 30mph and this car can stop on a dime..

Yeah, to go that much into a building would take a considerable rate of speed.

I saw his comment on fb about understeering....
