Replacing headlight glass
 

Im wondering if I can just buy a frs head light and transfer the glass to my brz headlight, would that work?
I got into and accident just awhile ago and got my headlight glass smashed. Just a portion of it. Everything is still working fine but the glass.
So wondering instead of buying the whole headlight assembly w/c are not cheap,
Was wondering if I can just purchase an frs headlight and swap it out? Would that work by any chance?

Tried all the junkyard around here and nothing. So last resort is to either buy new set of headlights and its very expensive.

junkyards I've tried contacting are only willing to sell the entire assembly, which they're still charging ~400USD per side.

It may work, but is not exactly easy. Look up one of the threads about modifying/smoking the headlights to see if you are prepared to do what it takes.

I see reasonably priced headlights on craigslist/ebay all the time since so many people mod them!

As to answer OP's first question.




FRS lenses do not fit the BRZ. We have different shrouds.
