What car got you into cars?

A super broad question but I'm actually curious. What was the first car you ever saw that really gave you a wow factor and tripped the wires to your inspiration for cars?

When I was extremely little maybe 4 or 5 I remember playing GranTurismo on my PS1 and PS2. If any of you played GT3 you may remember the opening cinematic that showed the Castrol Tom Supra being prepped, warmed up and flying out of the pits. I've always been extremely captivated by the color scheme of that racecar and the supra ever since. Always a car that's in the back of my mind. The Pennzoil GTR wasn't half bad either.

for me it was my first car, 1986 Pontiac Fiero SE that was in impeccable condition.. I'm talking show car condition... I wish I could've kept that car... alas I moved on but that is what had originally struck a chord with me and made me like cars.

Yeah I totally fell in love with the 2G DSMs, mainly the GSX.

Carrera GT is arguably imo one of the best sounding cars in the world. Only car I could think of that sounds better would be the Pagani Huayra

It's a 1959 or 1960 Austin Healey Sprite. The first few years of the Sprite were nicknamed Bugeyes in the US and Frogeyes elsewhere. It doesn't have a trunk (or boot, as it's properly called in a British car), just a space behind the seats. It also has removable sliding plexiglass side curtains instead of roll up windows. And you'll notice it doesn't have door handles. You have to reach in through the side curtain and pull a cable to open the door.

First time I saw one was in a soft drink commercial when I was a kid. Ironically, I think it was a 7-Up commercial. This girl drives up in her Bugeye to a road that is flooded out by a stream, but a group of guys comes to her rescue, picks the car up and carries it across to the other side. Then they all enjoy a 7-Up. I saw that commercial and said, "I want one of those."

But I ended up with the Triumph instead, which turned out to be a lot more car and a helluva lot of fun.

At one point we had 11 cars around the house, so there was always something else to drive. I get my appreciation for cars from the engine hoist permanently mounted to one of the structural beams in the garage of the house I grew up in.

You folks who got your interest from video games puzzle me. This is what car games looked like when I was a teenager:
