touring laps, part 2
 

went and did a second set of touring laps at NCM in bowling green. this time i had downloaded trackaddict and recorded the laps, even though i was speed limited by the lead car.

it was great to get in more time on the track and quite a few of the sets of turns i remembered from the last time. i've budgeted in next spring/summer to upgrade the brakes/fluid and hit at least one hdpe there.

a few random things that i realized:
- i've worked on heel-toeing but didn't feel comfortable to try too many times at track speed, and i sadly did manage to upset the chassis balance dropping into second on a hairpin.
- i realize how important it is to maintain a good line, the trackaddict recorder showed me a few turns where the line was uggggggly and i remember having a hard time getting back into the groove.
- dear god i need new tires. i bought a set of bfg comp2 all seasons and actually felt myself at the limit around a really tight corkscrew and just couldnt stay on line with the lead vette in any way.

and man, getting on track is addictive. i'm literally counting down the days till next season (and when i can afford all of the changes as well as the fees/insurance/etc..)
