Very curious about what type of wheels those are, also do you have some type of cover on your wheel well that lessens the wheel gap? Your car is beautiful!

Thanks ACE, the wheels are RAYS 57Xtreme SP Spec 18x9.5 +40. Tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sports 255/35/18s squared up.

I do have TRD fender extensions and yes they do lessen the wheel gap by about a 1/2".

Check out my build thread here for more details.

I just read through it all, such a nice car. I just picked up my 2016 FRS about 2 weeks ago and your build had given me a lot of inspiration!

How come you are getting rid of your ST coilovers? I didnt see a replacement set in your build thread. With your setup, the stance is spot on IMO.

I think in looking through his thread, he's pretty frequently changing stuff around. I think the ST's are fantastic coilovers for the money, and punch pretty far outside their weight class. Highly recommend to any daily driver folks looking for a nice drop and really comfortable ride that's substantially sportier than stock.

They do not, you use your stock top hats.

My car always had a problem with the rear passenger always sitting higher than the rest of the car, like substantially higher. Doesn't matter what suspension I went with, same with my Bilstein B14 Coilovers, and with these. Since the difference was so much, it would affect the spring rate/spring preload with how much adjustment I needed to do to the rear right in order for it to be even.

I figured in order for me to compensate for the ride height difference, I needed coilovers where I can adjust the preload and then adjust the whole shock body for height so I don't mess with the spring preload. I bought some HKS HiperMax just for that.

Turns out when installing my HKS coilovers I remembered I never correctly set the upper bushings on the rear upper control arm, once I did it corrected my ride height difference in the rear. :bonk::bonk:

If I would have figured out this in the first place, I wouldn't have switched. I would have stayed with the ST and saved my money.
