You should follow STI heritage and have a red stitching interior, and i’d Be more than willing to trade for your interior :party0030:

Got my 2017 Nameless axleback exhaust. I went with 3inch + mufflers. Installed it last night. Sounds great and tips look good.

Congrats on the Nameless! I've had mine on for a bit over a month now and I've been thoroughly enjoying it. Easy to keep quiet, but also super easy and fun to bring out its tone. Gotten nothing but compliments from people driving with me in the car or outside in another car.

Small updates.
Installed my Shorai battery today and the Passenger side Radium catch can.

New battery:

It's crazy how heavy the original battery is. I thought I pulled my back out just lifting it out of my car. I decided to throw a bunch of stickers I had laying around on the battery. I wanted to use them but I dont like stickers in visible places. I think its kinda cool.

I feel like They didn't give me enough hose to complete the driver side catch can. :sigh:

EUL headers & dyno tune

Big update today. Took the car out to drift office in Auburn, Wa to get EUL headers installed and a ECUTEK dyno tune.

new headers coated inside + out:

Old are out:

Installed headers plus STI motor mounts:

Next up was dyno tune time!!:thumbup:

Up we go:

Time for some runs:

Now for the dyno results. These results are 4th gear pull on a dynojet.
Stock(Nameless axleback + works drop in):
182 WHP & 140tq which is some really solid numbers.

EUL Headers + tune
189 WHP & 149tq Which is better but overall pretty small peak gain.

What did change a lot is the area under the curve for lower RPM especially around 4000-5000 RPM.
Here is the graph. Red is EUL Headers Blue is stock.

https://i.imgur.com/MoUltmK.jpg

As you can see there is solid gains under the full RPM band. The biggest difference at ~ 4500 which is 20whp & 23tq. This is huge.

Initial impression post tune:
The biggest benefit is how much smaller the torque dip is and how hard the car pulls after hitting 4k. After 5k the car continues to pull strong hard to notice a difference from the butt dyno. I will compare my lap times at my local tracks and my top speeds on the straights to see if this really mad a difference to top end performance. I am very pleased with everything. Looking at my spread sheet this mod cost me $1550 all in. You could save $200 and not get it coated. which would put you at $1350. For 20whp and 23tq right in the meat of the rev range and solid gains through out, this is easily worth it. Also this was on 92 oct gas.

other notes:
Love the sound of my car with the EUL headers + Nameless 3inch & mufflers.

The Nameless setup is perfect, and I'm sure the headers create an even better sound

Thinking about grabbing that 4th brake light myself. Checked out the different photos you've posted with the brake lights on and it seems to match up really well with the '17 tails.

Nice work so far!

Thanks! I love the 4th brake light. Hardest part is hooking it up to stock wiring. I made a post in DYI section which details the wiring.

I’d probably have to find someone to help with that haha. I can’t be trusted with any of that stuff.

86 Meet up!

Yesterday I went and to my first 86 meet up in the Seattle area. It was a lot of fun. Nice to talk to other owners about their cars and what their plans are. :respekt:

So last weekend went to finish up my install of the FT86 speedfactory diffuser and diff cover. The diff cover part was back ordered so I got it a week later. My car already had the JDM panels on it. Note to get the JDM panels to work with the FT86 diff cover you need to Dremel off a small bit of the JDM panel. otherwise it blocks the FT86 diff cover. It looks great when its all done. I went up to my friend's place in Maltby, Wa. He had a Dremel I could borrow. he also owns a clean hawkeye WRX wagon. So we went for a fun drive up in Snohomish, WA. It was a ton of fun. We swapped cars half way. His WRX is WAY faster then my BRZ. both really fun cars. They feel so different. See and hearing my car driven I realized my exhaust is freakin loud. I'd say 7/10 loudness but sounds great. For reference Id rate stock exhaust loudness at 3/10.
