Looking at the first video the damage doesnt look too bad, might need a new trunk lid, but doesnt look bad enough to have bent the frame. You wont know for sure though until the bumper is removed.

I was in an accident last year that looks far worse and it wasnt totalled, since you got rear ended its most likely the other drivers fault, you should have no problem going through insurance and not getting a rate hike

13.5k is the equivalent of my kbb value haha. your car must have been fairly new or low mileage

If that Orange Co. in his profile is OC, CA and not OC, FL then he's all set. In Florida that accident, even if it is 100% the other guy's fault, will raise your rates. Yes, Florida is that fucked up.

Be sure to request a 'diminished value' claim/appraisal from your insurance. Since the car no longer has a clean title, your insurance should pay you the the difference in average sale price between a clean title and salvaged title vehicle.

If your appraiser does deem the car to be a total loss, it may be worth having a lawyer draft a letter saying they will be representing you if a fair settlement amount is not reached in a timely manner. My car was totaled a while back, and they finally offered what I considered to be a fair settlement amount within 24 hours of receiving a letter from my traffic lawyer. Just to brag, the offer I ultimately accepted was their 4th offer in 3 weeks, and was 40% more than their initial settlement offer :happyanim:.

Good Luck!
