Suspension Loud Noise

Hi all,

After 1 year and only 7k miles, my 2016 FRS started making a loud suspension noise. It is random and most of the time it happens when first used in the mornings or after many hours without been used.

It started happening when turning the wheels (even without moving the car), then when going through small bumps and now it is happening even when turning on the motor first time in the morning (with the motor movement).

As expected, I left the car at the Toyota Service Center and they did not heard the sound. Before leaving the car in the service center again, and before they start guessing, anyone has any ideas? Anyone had the same issue and found the solution?

Thanks in advance !!

What sorta noise is it? A clunk, pop, etc? Also, what suspension modifications, if any, do you have?

Judging by most people's experiences, including my own, sounds like it could be a loose stabilizer link nut or contact from the stabilizer link. Check that all the nuts are tightened to the proper torque spec.

Thanks for replying.

I don't know how to upload a video for you to see it, but for me it is a clunk, like something moving out or in its place. It is loud and can be feel in the front/left (driver side) of the car.

My car is completely stock. Lightly used, just 7k miles in a year.

Regards
