Kouki 2017 GT86/BRZ taillights - Tint/Nightshade?

Curious if anyone has tinted/Nightshaded these red yet? Pretty curious to see if anyone's done it.

Off topic, where does the name Kouki come from?

In Japan Zenki is the before refresh name and Kouki is the after refresh name.

I've only heard this term for Nissans, referring to "second gen" of a model. Zenki meaning "earlier or first gen."

Zenki refers to First generation of a body style
Chouki refers to a minor change to the first generation
Kouki refers a second minor change and final form.

Not every vehicle is referred to with these three terms. Most of the time it is Zenki and Kouki.

S13 had Zenki, Chouki, and Kouki

The 86 has a Zenki and Kouki right now. But if there is another minor change that will mean the 17/18's will be Chouki and that new change will be kouki.
