i wants the popcorn LOL, but to add my two cents yeah i dont really have much of a problem with passing infact I just went on a 10 car cruise with some friends through the mountains, I am obviously the second slowest car there with the second slowest being a stock focus st, with rx7 and hawkeye being the fastest two there both heavily modified ( 500 hp+)
ANYWAYS... All ten of us were not having an issue and thankfully for me I didnt have much trouble keeping up on our spirited drive. Passes were far from risky and to be fair in the corners when they obviously werent in boost I made up some of the slack, but as soon as those straight aways happened... oh lord, you really realized how slow the twins are. But damn was it ever a blast running with about 3300HP (total of the cars estimated) give or take a hundred through the mountians. |

Our highways in the GTA are far too crowded to just cruise... |

Clutch in, shift to 4th (being gentle but swift), apply the accelerator and lift the clutch as the revs zoom, apply the rest of the accelerator. Shout "WOOHOO!", give the ole bird the finger as you pass. If you want you can practice the timing so the revs match that required in 4th as the clutch releases but it's less important. However the REALLY important thing is to lift the revs up and be applying throttle when the clutch begins to catch. If you left the revs drop even more and release the clutch you will get a horrid jolt forward and could potentially (in the wet) lose rear traction similar to grabbing the hand brake. |

edit. IMHO these cars are just not THAT slow. |
I'm surprised at the number of people who are surprised by the need to pass.
