Is it me or is everyone having issues with the paint

I am quite disappointed in this cars paint job. I feel Toyota/Subaru only put one cote of paint on this car and its very easy to scratch with the touch of a finger. I have Waxed my car so many times and it doesn't have swirl marks but it looks like a rock got shot at my rear bumper and it chipped the paint. I have worked for Toyota for about 10 years and have never seen it look so cheap!!! I have also owned 6 Toyota's and have never had this issues!?!?!?!

Is it just me or does anyone else have this issue?

Correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't the colors for both Fr-s/brz all Subaru color codes?

Paint is heavy. Seriously, if this car was painted in an MB factory, it would weigh at least 50kg more. If it bothers you, get it Opti-Coated.

Im having the same problem. The bults for my front plates chipped off 2 chunks and a rock it my car while driving and took some paint. Not the best if you ask me.

So i talked to my body shop friend last night about this issue and he told me (warned me) not to us this opti coat and said they use to use this after a paint and found after a few years it will jack up the paint making it flake off! so now im sitting on my computer thinking fuck what should i use. all he could say is use 3M clear coat sticker cover or another sealer. He recommended a really high quality sealer and told me to put this on asap. cant remember the name but i will ask him one more time and post it.

Man, I hated the Java Black Pearl paint on the STI I had. Tangina, I am not going to get an FR-S/BRZ now.

The Paint on my bumper already has flakes coming off. It's probably going to need a repaint in a few years :(
