STOP USING photobucket

Stop using photobucket people!
Do not use photobucket to post your pictures. It does not show up for anybody.

I was about to post a picture of what appears instead of the actual picture and did find something odd though.
If you save the picture to your computer, you can open it up and then actually see it.

But still....DO NOT POST PICTURES USING PHOTOBUCKET!

Use Imgur

TylerLieberman 09-07-2017 12:13 AM

Or flickr. Or any other picture hosting site.

Problem is people don't know how to search or read previously created threads like this.. So people are still going to do it.

I say we just f*ck with them when they post pics from photobucket. Just quote the image link and say something like "that's the dumbest thing I've never seen". See how long it takes for people to start catching on.

...you know what? I'm just gonna start doing it. Don't believe me just watch

photobucket has ruined my signature wayyyy too many times.

Photobucket has been awful for over a decade, I don't know why people still use it, I think I had an account in like 2004 solely because there really wasn't any options for free image hosting.

That's really good to know, you just have to click the pic to get redirected to Photofuckit, then right click, save image as.

I would be great if people would go back, especially in subs like DIY or posts where pics really help convey the message, and re-host those pics on Imgur so we can all benefit from their original post. I know it's asking a lot because it's a royal pain in the ass to do...I fixed a few of mine...not exactly fun.

Photobucket started doing this back in June. It was buried in the Off Topic section, http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=119940

This is so true, photobucket has always sucked. I've always found free photo hosting sites, there are tons of them out there you just need to do 1 google search.

Just use the image manager on here. It's not difficult to use.

They suck.

Was this a corporate suicide move for PhotoBucket?
