This was going to be my 'favorite' to. Others would be Ryuji Miki @ Ebisu (I thinnkk...2006?...2005?) going up against an AE86 and trying to take his speed/line into the corner and walling it:respekt:... I have some home vids of Daijiro Yoshihara @ Formula D Road Atlanta, way back when, in '06 probably, in his first S13. You talk about insane speed/angle coming into that first corner at the bottom of the downhill...whew, exciting stuff in person! Might've been '05, the year Taka's crew gave me his used practice tires after I jokingly 'made off' with one of them. They're still on my pizza-cutters. Nice sliding gze!! Makes me miss being able to do that in AE86 all the more...le sigh. I'll see about trying to get some primo coverage of my first drifting back in '04...its on my friends VHS tape though...bad quality if I remember. The mk3 and my poor driving sure could smoke a tire though! Man....really miss those old drift nights. |

As for Sekia Hills. It's really hard track! I had a chance to visit there few times (cuz it's in Fukuoka. Which is fairly close to my grandparent's place). http://www.fukuokatalk.com/wp-conten...rift-track.jpg As you can see from the pic, you gotta connect 3 corners together. Now... it's my time to post several of my fav drift vids. FYI mostly Orido (cuz I'm big fan of Orido) But I'll start w Kawabata's insane angle drift [u2b]ZBSVqOc-CN4[/u2b] Without joke, Orido's Supra is my fav Supra out of all      [u2b]sbvngVXRqIs[/u2b] Now for Orido drifts [u2b]rvmpmKwhUyU[/u2b] [u2b]ZsG7qXRyXwA[/u2b] A lot of ppl say drifting in the rain is easy... yeah right. I have done it before and I can say one thing. If you're drifting in parking lot w nothing to worry sure. BUT if it's in track, different story. It's amazing how Orido is drifting 800hp supra in the rain [u2b]K8d3vv1lu10[/u2b] [u2b]DFo91DHCsdw[/u2b] & here Orido tease Tsuchiya and act like newb drifter. LOL every time I see it, makes me laugh. Also the Tarzan Yamada too!!! [u2b]E6_5ZyZyg6o[/u2b] I gonna stop for now, I think I've posted enough |
