Whistle Like Sound

OK. So about 3 days ago my car battery died and after i got a jump start the car sounded a bit off. I revved the car once (probably shouldn't have) and it sounded normal again but when i went to close the hood something made a banging noise. Since then when ever you accelerate or push in the gas it makes a whistle noise. Kind of like those turbo diesel trucks. Any idea of what it could be?

Vacuum hose leak?

If it whistles when you put the hammer down it's not vacuum related. It's in the exhaust.

What mods?

Ive Done a Muffler delete and Air intake. Thats what i was thinking maybe it was something on the exhaust since there is no check engine light and the noise cant be heard when you stand by the engine but from the car door back

Drive the car for 50-100 miles and report back. It very well could be alternator whine (which is common after reviving a dead battery). Once the battery charges to normal levels you shouldn't have any trouble (assuming that this is the issue).

OR ....... to speed up the process ....... put the battery on a charger to bring it back up to speed.

It takes an alternator a looong time to recharge a dead battery.
