I saw this photo in press in Toyota JP. What do you guys think of the color? They call it Toyota 86 "Black Package"... with "Solid Grey" color (PBA).

I must say, I kinda like the color. If I wasn't buying a house & did came in US, I might trade my '14 BRZ for this.

What do you guys think?

Edit:
sorry, here's the press site - http://newsroom.toyota.co.jp/jp/detail/18371335/

Would have to see it in person to know if I'd like the color.

Also, it's basically the wheels and Brembo brakes from the BRZ PP??? Doesn't even appear to have leather/Alcantara, and no nav? Might as well stick with the regular GT-Limited and upgrade the brakes...

Curious what kind of paint mix it is.

Reminds me of the Focus RS' Stealth Gray option, which is a nice, flat, dark kind of gray color.

But yeah, curious about the interior options. Seems weird to tack on the BRZ Performance Package brembos/different wheels but leave the interior same as base GT?

Doesn't make sense to me on who they are targeting with this trim. I would have said track guys since there is no radio, but track guys wouldn't care for dual climate control and smart key. Can't be for the cursing type since there are no heated seats and no radio/nav.

The colour looks nice but just draws attention to that pig ugly front bumper assembly.

Just give me the wheels, brakes and wing.

Edit: yeah idk why they made it GT model interior. I'm assuming it's just quick press photo & not real interior photo.

Really? I thought, the color hide the front bumper assembly design well.

I really like that dash piece.

dnieves 09-04-2017 12:09 PM

I really like that color, if it had the heated seats I'd consider trading in. If it had the FR-S front bumper skin it'd be a slam dunk.

sato 09-04-2017 12:11 PM

Kinda liking that color.

HKz 09-04-2017 12:21 PM

like the color, looks good on the kouki bumper

extrashaky 09-04-2017 12:57 PM

Oh look. An invisible car.

That color will blend into the background and make it difficult to see. In rain it truly will be invisible. Take an already small car with a profile low enough that SUV drivers already can't see it and give it that paint? Better just assume that everybody is about to try to smash you.

eh, despite being height challenged, our twins stand out no matter what color :iono:

Like the wheels. The color's not bad either.
