That was the point of the article. IIRC, it was about the average street-driven stock (or mostly) car with generic doofus-ginormous wings. The trade-off was not worth it unless you DID spend the time to get the set-up correct.
I wonder how many vendors of wings actually do wind tunnel or computer time with each specific car. From just a casual look around, my guess is not many. Slap that shit on, viola, racecar!
