Tcoat, you had me in stitches!! Did the same research go into sticking cherry bombs to the back of exhaust or drilling holes in the exhaust to make the car faster?

I see that you have the drag coefficient calculations in there plus the critical fluidisation at terminal velocity. I'm impressed.. just recovered from your previous reply..

Private sale - used. The guy had no use for it. Which is the reason why I jumped on it so quickly because i called the closest dealer and they said it would be 2400 + tax + shipping and I wouldnt recieve it until the end of the year with the next shipment. So I assumed it would never happen, then the car gods answered me 2 week later.

I wasn't talking about the benefits of FI. I was referring to guys with BFWs on cars either NA or FI if they are not going fast enough to take advantage of them. And no amount of "but even at low speeds they help" will convince me there is any reason beyond cosmetics to slap one of those on your street car. Evn on a track car you are going to take some time before you are driving well enough to reap any benefits from one so it should be one of your last performance mods not one of the first.

I am more than aware of the benefits of FI and have been there and done that so am no longer interested.
