gcs fender fins question..
 

i have a 2017 86 and i always wanted the gcs fender fins (just like the trd but no willing to pay 800$)
my buddy has it on his frs and he installed it with 3m over is stock frs fender garnish.

after some observation we are convinced that the fins wont fit over the 2017 fender garnish cuz they are not the same shape...

NOW: should i get the frs fender garnish then install them with 3m OR should i juste take my fender garnish out and install them with 3m?

was wondering if anyone installed them directly on the body, not the fender garnish?

Remove your fender garnish and 3M the GCS to the fender.

Wait what? I have a 2017 86. I bought the black TRD fender fins for $300 cdn shipped. Ebay item number is 302088728388. The shape of the old fenders and the new fenders is exactly the same. The design is different. So you pop out the old ones, pop the new ones in. Takes 30 seconds. You can get it in any of the OEM colours. I have a red car so I got them in black. $266+29 shipping.

Are the GCS units covers or are they replacement fins?

they are covers tho

Yeah I didn't want covers, seeing how the fitment wouldn't be 100%
