To be honest, my experience with this car was really really bad. I didn’t expect the engine and transmission to be this problematic. Toyota replaced the throw out bearing twice, the whole transmission assembly, and the clutch, and I’m still having the same problems (some were normal and explained by other members, but some are not). They replaced the whole engine but the weird metallic noise still stayed. I compare this car with my friends sti, M3, and a Camaro SS, all these cars have much solid feel with the transmission. But I really appreciate Erik’s help who is from Toyota of Orange, he tried the best his could to sort this problem out.
