FA20Club Flex Fuel Kit
 

Hi I have a FA20Club flex fuel kit and I can't find instructions anywhere on how to install it. I know it's pretty basic and plug and play I just do not now how to connect it to the ECU because there's nothing to connect it to the O2 sensor. If anyone can help or can point me in the right direction towards instructions or a video that would be great :party0030:

Get rid of it, that's one of the worst brands you can get for our platform. They are a disgraced company.

What flex fuel kit would you say is the best to get for a FR-S in your opinion.

Have you tried just calling the company and asking for a set of instructions?

Moto- East and Delicious Tuning. I have the Moto East one and is great. Great customer service and easy plug and play kit. I have the Evap harness too and it has been on the car for about a year with no issues whatsoever!

Well that doesn't really help me FA20CLUB is a bad company and they did bad things but the flex fuel kit is fine it has had no problems I just need instructions (: I just can't figure out the ECU part if anyone can help me with that.

Are you sure you have all the parts? Based on the Moto-East flex-fuel setup, besides the actual sensor part that taps into the fuel line, do you have something like this for all the electrical connections? (Sensor input, gauge output, Signal output which what goes over to my O2 sensor connector)

Yeah I do but instead of having something that will connect to the O2 sensor it wants to go straight to the ECU. I've got the car running but I can smell gas in the cabin and it's really shaky/ the rpms are freaking out. I don't know if it should be like that because I haven't flashed my ECU w the tune yet.

You should not be running your car unless everything is connected properly, both the fuel lines and the electrical connections and the correct tune is flashed. You either have a fuel leak or the ECU is dumping fuel into the cylinders because it's not connected/tuned properly.

I looked at those instructions and they're crap. From what I gather, if you have the latest version of the kit, they want you to cut whatever wire is currently going to pin C20 on the ECU connector (shown in purple as "flex fuel input") and connect the White/Blue wire from the analyzer unit to the wire on the connector side of the cut. It appears that you are basically disconnecting whatever is currently going to pin C20 and replacing it with the analyzer output (White/Blue wire). That's how I am reading it.

Maybe try to contact your tuner or perhaps another tuner that may have experience with this kit that can give you some better info.

Sweet I think you are right that should make things a whole lot easier. Everything was connected and there was no fuel leaking so it's probably the ECU not being connected properly. I'll try connecting it to the right wire on the ECU and let you know how it goes. I'm going to have to wait to flash the tune because my ecutek liscense USB isn't able to be read by any computer I try.

instead of cutting any of the stock wiring use the rear o2 connectors and depin the wires and use the rear o2 for power ground and signal.

i can help you with few things i have made my own kit it was mostly premade didnt have to do lots of work except the wiring from the gauge.

Looks like pin C20 is from the Evap pressure sensor not the O2 sensor. Good info below.
