High Pressure Fuel Pump and Aftermarket Headers

I'm having the fuel pump replaced under warranty, as I figured I might as well take advantage of the warranty and try to get rid of the crickets at least once. I also am going to have headers installed soon. My question is:

Do you think the dealer will care that I have aftermarket headers and a tune from open flash tablet on the car? I have no idea

Probably would depend on the dealer. I have a header and tune and they didn't give me any problems about getting the new fuel pump in.
If you don't have the header/tune in yet, just wait until after the pump is changed out.

Alright, I'll just wait. I'm just anxious. Finally doing more to my car than just rice

Sorry to necropost, but here I am.

Is there an aftermarket low pressure and high pressure fuel pump for the twins?

I'm looking to upgrade the whole system and go FF

FF? There's tons of low pressure pump options, just depends on how much flow you need. If you're staying N/A, there's no need to replace any of them at all. If you're going boosted then you just need to upgrade the low pressure pump and port injectors at most. Leave the HPFP and DI alone.

So was anyone able to swap the HPFP and remove the crickets with one of these, or something else.

Those are in tank pumps. The pump that causes the crickets is the HP pump bolted to the driver side head. Again, there is no aftermarket replacement.

Yes. I think the old
Pump part number will supersede to the newest. Not 100% though.

Edit: checked and all years show compatible with the newest pump. Looks like it has been superseded a few times. Only 1 part number available for all years mt or auto.
