Booked in for my first track day in December
So I've booked in for my first track day in December, it's a pretty light event with an instructor in the car for the first half of the day.
Basically I want to know if there is anything I should do to the car in the next three months to make it suited better for the track? It already has a Tomei UEL header and Invidia Q300, running stage 2 OFT tune for the engine and for tyres and suspension hankook RS3's with shockworks coilovers and whiteline 20mm and 18mm sway bar. I'm planning to get a fire extinguisher bracket as this is mandatory apparently. The car is on 27,000km (Around 17,000 miles) so I might replace the brake pads with something that's a bit more suited to track suggestions would be welcome here. Any advice for first timers would be welcome. |
All you really need is brake pads and brake fluid that will last for tracking. Having an oil cooler would be nice as well.

Bring plenty of water and stay hydrated!! Just go, learn and have fun.
