Hot Lava for sure, it was the very first FRS I ever laid eyes on and I actually ordered one. Dealer kept me on a string for too long so I bailed and found my Sterling Silver BRZ instead.

I do like the Galaxy Blue Silica as well.

You have to go to Scion for that.

I have a WRB BRZ. If the BRZ were available in Hot Lava I'm not sure which way I would have gone.

That would be my dilemma if I had to replace my car with a new one. Would I go for a droopy nosed Lava 86 or a much better shaped WRB BRZ? I really don't know which way I would go.

I have a DGM BRZ but drive past an Ultramine FRS pretty regularly and it looks great so Galaxy Blue would have been my second choice.

When I bought the car it came down between Lightning Red and WRB, but I chose red. Years later, I prefer it to the blue and am glad I made the choice I did. The only other one I think looks as good as red is the Series.Yellow, so at this point it's a toss up between red and yellow.

Keep in mind that with this car being small, the brighter colors are probably safer. Black, white and gray cars blend into the background and become invisible. I have a black Cherokee that is twice the size of the Subaru, but it might as well be cloaked. When I drive the Cherokee I'm much more likely to have people pull over on top of me, pull out in front of me, cut me off and actually run into me. A few years ago a dipshit rear ended me while I was sitting still at an intersection, and he said, "I didn't see you." There is a definite, noticeable difference with the red Subaru.

So then orange should be perfect!

Absolutely. I used to have a black VW GTI. I joked that it must have had a target on it.

This is what happened the last time I owned a black car. Love the look, but never again.

There are even worse colours. Then you get the guys that throw a matt finish on top of a low visibility colour.

I have considered painting my XJ bright orange with a reflective white stripe down the side, then getting a custom tag that says TRFC BRL.

A droopy nosed lava 86 and a new BRZ bumper?

That could be an option but is more trouble than it is worth.

Pink with white stripes.

Yellow

Own WRB, tempted by white.

What made the decision easier in the end was that I'm not really a fan of Subaru's pearl white-- it looks slightly brown / dirty to me. If they had a pure, gloss white (like BMW Alpine white or Porsche's Carrera white) it would've been a ~*super*~ difficult choice...

Yep, I was considering white for a little bit, but this was my same feeling - I really only like pure white on a car.

I'll be buying a 2017 or 2018 soon. I'm currently leaning towards silver, but I do like the WRB as well :)
