EcuTek maps separate learning or not?
This may be a dumb question, and I apologize if it is because I have no idea what keywords to search to get an answer for my question.
I have a flex fuel setup with EcuTek, all maps are set for flex fuel but have different RaceRom features on each map. For example, map 1 has no special features other than flex fuel, map 3 has launch control, flat foot shift, rev match on downshift, and traction control. Does anyone know if each map is self contained as far as short/long term fuel trims and throttle learning, or if they're all using the same learned fuel trims but with just the different RaceRom features per map? I'd think they share the same learned trims since you can switch maps on the fly, but I'm just curious if this is the case. Edit: now that I think about it a bit more, if the same tune was copied across each map and they just modify the existing car's ECU learned tables, they'd all be the same no matter what since they'd be using the same baseline. The only way it'd be different is if each map had a separate ign/fuel mapping applied to it. Is this correct? |

When you switch map modes in ecutek 1,2,3,4 the fuel trims are same You just switching Racerom features Base timing and fueling maps Any custom maps activated on each map mode All ecu learned parameters are same regardless of map mode setting |
