BRZ 2017 Headlight Covers

Hi Everyone!

I'm new here so please forgive me if this question has been posted before but I am looking to buy some headlight covers. I literally spent all evening yesterday searching online for (smoked) headlight covers for my 2017 BRZ without any success. :sigh: I know getting them tinted is an option but I DON'T want to do that. I'm looking for smoked plastic covers that can quickly be installed and uninstalled.

Would anyone here happen to know of a vendor or place that sells them? Do they even exist? I did find some from Taiwan on ebay for previous versions of the BRZ but they are not the right specs for my 2017. :brokenheart:

I made this account to post on here and hope that some of you pros can help a noob out.

Thank you!!

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but you're basically looking for a tinted piece of plastic that'll clip onto the headlight assembly?

Haha! The perfect gif! Yes, that is correct. I remember them being around for older cars, and I do know they are still made, but just haven't seen any for this model. :(

I don't think you'll be able to find any for the BRZ/FRS. I remember in the VIP scene companies made tinted lenses that would complement their body kits. You could purchase a set of used oem/new aftermarket headlights and just tint those and go back and forth between the tinted and the non-tinted ones.

Installing and uninstalling the headlight units (frequently) sounds like a bear you'd quickly grow very tired of, and with a steep initial expense. How about a tinted film? If you're going to be switching back and forth on a, say, seasonal basis, it could be easy and cheap enough to peel it off and just install new film when you want them dark again. (?)

I remember these being all the rage back in the mid to late 90s

Thanks everyone, I think I'll just go ahead and buy some tint and install it myself on my headlights since it doesn't sound like there are any covers. I appreciate all your responses! <3

It's always a good plan to make your headlights less effective.
