Any time I drive something else, I think "oh, it's not bad actually". Then, I get back into my car and think, "wow, I was out of my mind earlier. This thing is way better".

And yes, when it comes to seating, I find even sedans feel like riding in a jacked up pickup in comparison.

I have my 08 tundra to remind me how unique a car the twins really are. The truck has zero connection to the road through suspension or steering but 383 hp is nice even in a 2 ton plus behemoth.
Flying for work, I leave my car at the airport and keep my keys on the desk of my camp room to remind me: 3 weeks and I get to drive, really drive again. The 2 1/2 hour night time drive home from the airport is safer in the truck (400 watts of extra lighting) but more fun in the car.
My GF has always hated on my car. Too small, too low, no space for shopping. I finally let her drive it a few weeks ago with me in the passenger seat of course. After a half hour drive she got out and said, ''I see now why you bought this car."

Every time I have to fly somewhere and use a rental for a week or more, I come back and drive like a newbie with stick.

Jerky starts, jerky shifts, and I even stall on a hill sometimes because I forget to give it some extra gas.

Same here lol. If only my gf was interested in learning to drive stick...

Yup even when I switch back and forth between my Saabaru, which is also a manual and has good bolsters.

The FRS has a much sharper throttle response and more direct feeling shifter, plus the driving position makes you much more involved. When I drive my Saabaru i find myself reaching for a non-existent 6th Gear!!

At work I go from a 2500HD Silverado with 2,000 lbs of crap in the back to my FRS. From the 120th floor suite to the lobby LOL. Auto to MT. heavy to light. Steering so numb it's like driving a barge to a well... a Twin!

I feel you OP. What a difference.
