I'm typically out of town and in a rental M-F....one week I got stuck with a Mitsubishi Mirage- the FRS felt like a Ferrari as I drove home from the airport :D
|
I have been DD'ing my twin (MT) for the last couple weeks. Today I have to pick up chicken supplies at the feed store, so I'm in my 4x4 Dodge (AT). Did the usual waving my hand around looking for a stick, and plop my left leg against the fire wall looking for a clutch.

ive had my rental nissan sentra for a little over two weeks now, probably going to be another week at least....
it sucks. cant wait to see my car again, i miss it so much its stupid |
Drove a rental Toyota Corolla. Scared the living hell out of me the first time I tried to push it in a turn. Between the numb steering and the body roll, it felt like absolute crap.

Been there, done that. It's funny, I've done it both in the truck and our AT Civic. I seem to remember I'm in an AT when I accelerate, it's when I'm coming to a stop I want to downshift and the Phantom shifter and clutch come into play. I had a rental 4 door Corolla when I was in Seattle last. Seemed like a good car for going from here to there, tons of room, but boring as hell. The paddle shifters were a major joke. |
i work at benz so going from driving tall floaty GLE, G wagons and E classes to my frs gives me that sensation every day LOL
