Visiting Atlanta/Gainsville/Oakwood
 

@Dadhawk @echo419 and anybody else that cares.

I will be flying into Atlanta on Monday Sept 18.

Have to be in Gainsville at 9pm so have a few hours I can kill.

Coming back to Atlanta around 8pm on Thursday abut not flying out until 11 am on Friday so will have Thursday evening available.

Anybody want to join me for dinner or something on Monday?
Couple of beers on Thursday?

May have some free time in the evening on Tuesday and Wednesday if there is anybody nearby Gainesville or Oakwood.

Monday could be good for me. What time do you get in?

Should be clear of the airport around 11am or so.

straight to Gainsville? because that's a haul for me. 1-2hrs in traffic for me after work. I'm basically in Marietta for work.

Nope. Landing in Atlanta. Out of airport at about 11. Don't need to be to Gainsville until 9ish so have several hours to kill. I will have a rental so can travel at least a reasonable distance from the airport as long as I can still make the hotel in Gainsville by a decent hour.
Going to Gainsville/Oakwood for a company conference and to visit two of our plants there.

cool. lets remember to bump this closer to that week and we'll figure something out. plenty of options on the way up there that aren't to far for me. :cheers:

I would just like to say that Gainsville is not a good representation of the merto Atlanta or even rural Ga. :lol:

So I have heard. I understand Oakwood is marginally worse though.
Keep in mind that many of our sites are located in or near metro Detroit so I am hoping that these locations are at least a step up form those.

yeah, I just won't go to Oakwood. not that I ever had a reason but if I did I would get out of it if at all possible.
