Mature Sounding Exhaust
what would be a good option for a more mature sounding car but subtle and wouldnt draw too much attention. everything is stock right now and wont be going FI (unless i win the lottery lol) but something needs to change about the exhasut. should i get a catback? a new header and keep everything stock? muffler delete? muffler delete and header? i dont know ahhhh. i wanna get the best bang for my buck and a make the car sound like it looks without being obnoxius and being "that guy". :thanks:

Just looking for sound then a catback is the way to go.
There are many options for a budget from "oh that is a reasonable price" to "HOLYFUCKINGCRAPSONOFA BITCHDAMN how much?" I love the TRD which is a bit at the upper end of the scale in price but has a nice deep tone and zero rasp. Check your local for sale section and you may pick something up used. Or just wait for Cole to change his again and get it really cheap. |
Header and stock catback FOR SURE.

the TRD would be nice but i feel for the price it may be too much :iono: do aftermarket catbacks weigh less or genereally the same weight as stock? does your TRD hang low or is it not super noticable when looking from the back |

What about the Nameless Performance axelback with 5" mufflers?

I get compliments from my over 30 soccer team on my setup. PTuning EL header, JDL ultra quiet catted, perrin 2.5" resonated

It is made for the car so fits very well. Is costly new though. Quote:
That would be what I would probably go with if I didn't have the TRD |
Q300 is a nice subtle setup. I run that with my Catless Ace 350 header and it is very tame unless you ask it to do other wise.

Greddy Supreme SP catback

TRD owner here. It sounds great, nice low tone. BUT it drones like a mofo on the highway at 3k RPM.
On the lesser expensive end ($500-$600) I am still recommending for dual exit, the MXP Comp RS (low tone (deeper than even the TRD, quiet when you want it to be, loud when you stand on it) With Ti tips now available if you want to dress it up. For single exit the Tanabe Concept-G (much quieter than most single exit CBE, still but saves a ton of weight over stock and aftermarket dual exit CBEs). |
LOL
The answers to this question always end up being more confusing than the question warrants. There are several thousand possible combinations and we usually hear about most of them. People are lining up to give their preferences. http://nordic.businessinsider.com/li...=article-image |

i should have mentioned i am also looking to go for a quad setup, not sure if this is gonna change the sound or anything but from my understanding you can just take the quad tips to an exhaust shop to weld them on like new? or get them doing a custom tip? and i do wanna OFT tune it as well
