Can the number of GT86 860 be found anywhere in/on the car?

Most of you probably already know that the GT86 860 SE has only 860 of that color car made. I've got a white 860, and nowhere does it say which number out of 860 my car is. Shouldn't it be somewhere more, visible? Is there any way to find out at all without going to the dealership? Would the dealership even know? I feel like with a limited edition car like this, the number would have to be somewhere relatively obvious.

Nowhere could I find it in the manual (unless I overlooked it, of course) or in any of the other handbooks.

If you guys know, please share! Thanks in advance.

The production number may be buried in the VIN ......:iono:

It's a Toyota 86 not a gt86.

The Toyota 860 is a limited edition and has no release series number like the Scion FR-S Release Series models.

Is that why the Monograms didn't get numbered? 10 series/RS1.0/RS2.0 all were numbered.

Yep. You could almost look at the Monogram as a better trim level than a Special Edition.

Correct the Monogram fr-s was a (Limited Scion Monogram Series) and not a Scion Release Series like the RS 1.0 and RS 2.0 which had the same color and features.

The Scion FR-S 10 Series was a numbered car but it wasn't a release series like the RS models. The 10 Series was a "Scion 10th Anniversary Edition".

Quote Scion: For 10 years now, Scion has been putting out stylish cars to appeal to the youthful generations of today. To celebrate their decade long existence, Scion’s released their 10 series line, which features their great lineup of cars as limited edition models to help celebrate the occasion.

I always wondered why the 10 Series was called that!

Thanks. I took your word for it anyway. The confusion on my end was that in Canada it would only have been Scions 7th anniversary since they only started here in 2010 (or as late as 2013 depending on your market area). I never even thought to associate the 10 with an anniversary.

I don't think I ever saw an advertisement for the 10 Series, didn't even know about them until I saw one at a dealership when my roommate in college was shopping for his (didn't read up on them as much back then). Not a bad price for what you got with the 10 Series either.

I like my monogram because it doesn't have any "limited edition" numbering since I find it tacky given it's a regular trim level in other countries. Now on a true limited edition model, I'd be fine with some serial numbering.

Since it's release I have seen advertisements for the any model of the FRS/86 twice. Saw one for a BRZ once. They were all very brief TV commercials. Hell I didn't even know they were actually making the damn thing until I saw mine in the showroom in late 2014.

Hi, back again! So I checked my VIN number and found that the production number, those last 5 digits there, don't seem to reveal to me what number out of the 860 it is. The last 5 digits are 07952, if that can tell you anything more. Other than that there don't seem to be any hints as to which it is. Hmm...

Any more info on where it could be found? I can post a link of the door sticker (obviously with any private information blurred) so you can see for yourselves.
