VERY hot air when driving

Ok so I know this is not exactly a luxury vehicle and things like this might be normal but just wanted to see if anyone had noticed/experienced the same thing.

As stated in tittle, I get very hot air coming in the cabin through the vents in the car but only when I am driving over like 40kph. Heat turned off, fan dialed to 0.. and it feels like I have the temp set to max heat and the fan on at least 3. There is no way of stopping it except obviously closing the vents manually but the ones at my feet cannot close so it gets annoying.

Should I be concerned or should I just accept the power decrease and turn on my A/C for once?

These things blow the hottest ambient air I have ever experienced.

Put the control on Recirculate and it will stop.

Yeah, or just set the fan to blow towards the window. Also make sure the dial is at the coldest setting, even when the fan is off.

Still comes through the vents when moving.

Recirculate closes the flaps to outside that is forcing the air through the tubes.

I find that it doesn't bother me nowhere near as much when I set it towards the window, but yeah. I mostly drive with the windows down cause I love hearing the exhaust, so I guess I don't notice it. But with recirculate on, it gets too stuffy inside in a couple of minutes

Not as stuffy as air the temperature of the surface of the sun being forced into the car!

Recirculate button works! Makes a big difference at least. Thanks man, great fix. Posting here = always good idea.

I thought it was a just a auto climate control issue, I see the manual version does this too?
I've never had a car that pumped so much heat out of the fresh air vent system
I noticed this more after a driving, then stopped. It's like the heat is on max.
Doesn't seem to do it in the morning (cold start)
I usually just turn the air on for a few minutes, once your down the road it seems to cool down a bit closer toward outside ambient.
I'll try the recirc button trick.

It's even worse if you sit with the car running for a few minutes, and then drive away.

It's like a heat-sink getting blasted into the car through the vents.

Must be nice living in a place where you don't need AC 9 months out of the year!

+1 for choosing between recirc or heat gun mode.

LOL Ya but the minute it goes over 75 I am far to hot and need the air on so still ends up being about 7 months.
